Alex Koenigsberg

Alex Koenigsberg

Executive Director

Alex started as the Executive Director of CLCC in July, 2014. He brought with him years of professional experience in business, entrepreneurship, event planning and marketing. Alex also has personal experience farming through his personal garden and orchard.

In addition to his work with CLCC, Alex volunteers with numerous groups around Connecticut. He has been a board member of Hartford Food System for five years, serves on his town of Coventry’s Economic Development Commission, and has volunteered with other nonprofits, political campaigns, and groups.

Alex enjoys the outdoors and playing sports. He is proud to be involved with CLCC because of the relationships the organization is able to build. “It begins with building human relationships, among those both with and without disabilities. But CLCC is special in that we do so through relationships built into the concept. The farm can provide vocational skills. Those skills can provide jobs. The jobs provide independence. These are just a few of the examples of the relationships that CLCC is creating!”
