CLCC Receives Grants from Peridot Foundation, Cruisin' on Main
Creative Living Community of CT is pleased to report it has received program and CSA funds from the Peridot Foundation and from Cruisin' on Main's Philanthropy arm.
Cruisin' on Main Street, Manchester, and one of Connecticut's, largest classic car shows has granted the organization $900 to support health and educational programming for adults with developmental disabilities this year. To date, Cruisin' has donated $154,371.00 to numerous not for profit and charitable organizations serving the Manchester community. Beneficiaries have included organizations serving the homeless, special needs, youth, seniors, public safety, education, service and civic organizations, health, arts, education and others.
The Peridot Foundation has allocated $1,600 towards CLCC's 2020 CSA. Specifically, CLCC was awarded the funds to purchase a walk-in cooling unit to keep cut flowers, produce and other goods produced on the farm cool. The Peridot Foundation previously granted CLCC funds to purchase a new film (roof) for its Vernon greenhouse. The Mission of Peridot Foundation is to improve the welfare of the greater Hebron community by supporting the activities of local charitable organizations.
