Who we are:  Creative Living is a non-profit organization with a mission to create a shared, inclusive living experience for individuals with and without developmental disabilities in a farm community, by focusing on the gifts of all in mutually rewarding relationships.  The farm community is the key element of our vision. 

The CLCC gardens were started in 2019 and we opened our Farm Stand October 2020.  A team of agriculture farmworkers and volunteers grow vegetables and flowers to provide to the Farm Stand and CSA customers.  The Farm Stand sells fruit and vegetables, arts and crafts, as well as products from local small businesses.  We will open in May through October 2023 for our third full season.  We are seeking to hire multiple Agriculture  Farmworkers to assist with caring for our gardens that would be available to work part-time Wednesday, 10 am – 2 pm, Thursday and Friday 10am – 6pm, or Saturday and Sunday’s 10 am – 3 pm.

What you will do:  As an agriculture farmworker you are responsible for providing caring for crops by watering, weeding, and harvesting them at the correct seasonal periods, preparing crops and other products for the CLCC Farm Stand or CSA for customer. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Plant, cultivate and harvest various crops such as vegetables and flowers.
  • Prepare corps for market including wash, packaging.
  • Use hand tools such as shovels and hoes.
  • Clean and organized garden tools

Qualifications include:

  • Ability to work in a team
  • Desire to learn to care for vegetable and flower gardens
  • Desire to learn more about operating a farm
